What's Good?

What is good?

What's Good?

Yes, life is different today than yesterday.

I dare ask you the question, "what is good?" Some people are saying, "nothing!"

How about the question, "what is broken?" A lot!

Some individuals believe our Education system is broken. Some of our family circumstances are broken. Some of us have broken financial situations. We have broken relationships. Broken credit. Or no credit. This or that is broken, and so on and on.

We have talked about what is broken but instead of concentrating on what is not going our way let's focus on what possibilities we have that can.

I have to make some major decisions because I took a job making less money, one because I was on Unemployment Benefits Insurance and could not turn down the position. The other reason was I simply had to pay my bills!. The good thing that came out of my new job is I enjoy what I do.

Now, I have to make another tough decision about my living arrangement. I have decided when my lease is over, I will need to move into a more cost effective apartment complex in order not to impair my credit.

I traded in my 2016 QX50 for a 2020 QX50. Not because I wanted a new car but because I went to 6 different Financial Institutions to refinance it  because I was upside down.

I was able to negotiate a deal with a financial institution who would finance me, take my old car as a trade. The trade off I had to be willing to make was it had to be only a 2020 new vehicle. My 2016 had a 16% interest rate. My 2020 has a .50% interest rate. In the long run that will save me thousands of dollars in interest.

That is good!

Now, I am looking at all my options to housing because I am making less money. I have not gotten a better paying position. I am not leaving anything un-turned to continue to have a home of my own. What I am doing is seeking God's face for instructions.

Now, that is good!

You may be at the same point in your life, where you need to do a life assessment and make some tough decisions.

Every time we are at crossroads in our life God is there with us. It is up to us to listen to God's voice and pick His decision. We can not lean unto our own understanding because God's ways are not our way. We want to be in His will doing things His way. If we order our steps in the Lord even when we do not understand He will not lead us down the wrong path.

What's good?

God gave us another chance to do things in His will and His way. Things may not be perfect right now. If you surrender yourself to Him, it will work out the way He wants it to.

That is what's good because we are in God's hands!

The United States of America is in God's hands!
