December's ๐ "No Envy"
It is the Holiday Season and the time many individuals practice gift giving. It is also time when many individuals experience envy because they can't afford to give freely to others.
Sometimes individuals lack of money causes them to become jealous in their ❤️. That is one of the reasons why family members steal from one another. That is one of the reasons why strangers steal from neighbors. That is one of the reasons why co-workers lie and or steal from one another.
I personally have experience individuals envying me because of my status of a business woman, my social media presence, being a published author, being a sports agent, and just because I am a Christian. However, no one knows what I have endured being who I am in Christ Jesus.
I have been homeless. I have gone without funds. I have lived in lack. I have lost friends. I have spent many holidays alone. However, I have continued to love on others that have done me wrong due to their envy.
Envy is the root of many of our country ills. It is simply envy!
Let's pray that in the month of December we will operate from a spirit of gratefulness and not envy.
Lord lets us pray that in this month of gift giving that we abort the spirit of envy. That we will practice being grateful of what You blessed us with. That we will love on one another and not envy our neighbors, co-workers, and or family members. That we will not take credit for something that we didn't write or do. That we will not spread the spirit on envy one to another. In stead we will help build one another up in collaboration and helping one another reach the goal God gave us to fullfil.
Help us to forgive those who have caused us harm because of their envy. God forgive us for the harm we have caused others because our envy. We ask you this prayer in Jesus name amen.
